Brief introduction:Human granulo-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (hGM-CSF) is a hematopoietic growth factor involved in the production of granulocytes and monocytes. It is produced by T cells and macrophages in response to antigens, as well as endothelial cells and fibroblasts after induction of various cytokines. hGM-CSF is a monomeric protein containing 127 amino acids, with six glycosylation sites and two disulfide bonds. Glycosylated and non-glycosylated hGM-CSF showed similar biological activity.
