IL-6 regulates immune response, acute response and hematopoietic function, and plays an important role in anti-infection immune response. IL-6 is secreted by T cells and macrophages to stimulate the immune response. The biological effects of IL-6 are mainly reflected in inducing B-cell differentiation to produce immunoglobulin, promoting the proliferation and growth of T cells, enhancing the differentiation of blood cells and its anti-tumor effect, and promoting the proliferation of bone marrow hematopoietic stem cells.
