Recombinant human tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α)

TNFα is a homologous trimer with a molecular weight of 17kDa per subunit that plays important roles in growth regulation, differentiation, inflammatory response, viral replication, tumorgenesis, autoimmune diseases, and viral, bacterial, fungal, and parasitic infections. TNF promotes the expression of MHC class Ⅰ antigen in T cells, enhances the proliferation of IL-2-dependent thymus cells and T cells, promotes the differential production of lymphoid factors such as IL-2, CSF and IFN-γ, and enhances the proliferation and Ig secretion of B cells stimulated by mitogen or foreign antigen. TNF-α has a growth-factor-like effect on some tumor cells and synergies with EGF.The proliferative effects of PDGF and insulin promote the expression of EGF receptor. TNF can also promote c-myc and c-fos, which are closely related to cell proliferation

The expression of the gene causes the transition from G0 phase of the cell cycle to G1 phase.Prokaryotic expression system (E.coli) containing high expression of human TNF-α gene was fermented, isolated and highly purified, and then lyophilized.The polypeptide chain is composed of 157 amino acid residues and has a molecular weight of 17.4 kDa.

This product is a sterile lyophilized powder, made from a protein solution containing 10mM phosphate with a pH of 7.2 filtered by 0.2um and then freeze-dried in separate packaging.
