Measurement Significance:

FAS is a fatty acid synthesis of key enzymes, catalyzes acetyl co-enzyme A and properiloxidase A to produce long chain fatty acids.FAS is generally expressed in various tissue cells, which is rich in mammalian liver, kidney, brain, lung and breast and adipose tissue.

Measurement principle:

Fas catalyzed acetyl CoA, malodyl CoA and NADPH to produce long chain fatty acids and NADP +; NADPH had absorption peaks at 340 nm, and NADP + did not; by determining the decrease rate of 340 nm light absorption, calculationFAS activity.
