ASTM F1929， “Standard Test Method for Detecting Seal Leaks in Porous Medical Packaging by Dye Penetration，” is a standard test method for detecting seal leaks in porous medical packaging using the dye penetration test. It is a non-mandatory national standard.

The packaging sealing test solution (Acid Fuchsin-Triton Method)， prepared according to ASTM F1929， consists of surfactants， dye， water， and other components. This reagent is intended solely for research purposes and is not suitable for clinical diagnosis or other applications.
