Novel cryptococci are often detected by ink staining assay, especially in the detection of cerebrospinal fluid specimens suspected of central nervous system cryptococcal infection. However, in practice, the ink staining method is greatly interfered by impurities and cellular components, and the detection rate is low, especially in the early stage and recovery period of central infection, when the number of cryptococci is small, and it is easy to miss detection.

This kit adopts Alisin Blue method, which has high staining specificity and clear coloring, and can effectively improve the detection rate.
