Product Introduction:
Mast cells are common cells in loose connective tissue. Mast cells are often found in groups along small blood vessels and lymphatic vessels. Mast cells are also commonly found around the interlobular ducts of the bronchi and pancreas. The nuclei are small and the cytoplasm is filled with coarse and metachromatic eosinophilic granules.
Mast cell staining kit (aldehyde fuchsin-orange G method) could show metachromatic granules. After staining, mast cell granules are stained dark purple, most of the other cells are not stained, and the background is orange yellow.
