Product Introduction:
Esterase is mainly divided into non-specific esterase , lipase, choli-esterase. α-Naphthol Acetate Esterase Staining Kit (α-NAE method), also known as non-specific esterase staining solution, is based on the principle that non-specific esterases in the cell hydrolyze α-naphthol acetate to produce α-naphthol, which is then coupled with diazonium salts to produce an insoluble colored precipitate that is localized in the cytoplasm.
This stain is not specific for esterase staining, so it is also called non-specific esterase stain, which can be used for non-specific esterase staining of blood, bone marrow or cell smears, frozen sections, and can also be used for sodium fluoride inhibition test. This stain is only used in the field of scientific research, not for clinical diagnosis or other purposes.
