Trichromatic phosphomolybdate solution is one of the components of the Masson trichromatic dyeing kit. It is mainly used for the differentiation of ponceau fuchsin dyeing solution and the mordant dyeing of aniline blue dyeing solution. It is often used together with the above two dyeing solutions to stain fiber tissue.

After dyeing, the muscle fiber is red and the collagen fiber is blue, which is mainly used to distinguish the collagen fiber from the muscle fiber.

Note: The active ingredients in the reagent are easily reduced and ineffective. If the color of the reagent is observed to change from bright yellow to yellow-green or even blue, it is not recommended to continue using.
