Product Introduction:
Myelin Sheath is a membrane wrapped around the outside of the axon of nerve cells. Myelin sheath is composed of myelin cells and cell membrane. It is a multi-layered lipid bilayer structure formed by the plasma membrane of nerve membrane cells winding along the axis of the axon. Weil staining can show whether the myelin sheath is intact, the degree of degeneration, necrosis and repair under pathological conditions, which is of significance for the pathological diagnosis and research of nerve tissue. For example, when nerve fibers are damaged, the myelin sheath may appear swelling, tormenting into a sphere, breaking or desheathing completely disappearing.
