Product Introduction:
Hematoxylin-Eosin staining, referred to as HE staining, is one of the commonly staining methods in section technology. The hematoxylin staining solution is alkaline, which mainly made the chromatin in the nucleus and the ribosomes in the cytoplasm colored violet blue. "Eosin is an acidic dye that primarily colors the cytoplasm and components of the extracellular matrix red."
The staining process needs to be optimized, and the staining situation is related to the type of tissue or cell, and also changes with its life cycle and pathological changes. "For example, many cells have pale or slightly basophilic cytoplasm staining for eosin during the newborn period, but become hypereosinophilic as they age or undergo degeneration." The eosin staining of collagen fibers changes from light to dark with aging and the appearance of hyaline degeneration.
All reagents included in this product are working solutions and can be used directly.
