Chlamydia gallinacea belongs to the family Chlamydiaceae and is an obligate intracellular parasitic prokaryotic organism. It was officially recognized as a new species in 2014. Chlamydia gallinae is transmitted through the fecal-oral route, and its host is mainly poultry. It has been isolated from chickens, ducks, guinea fowl, turkeys and other poultry, and can also be isolated from cattle; its distribution range is all over the world, in Europe, North and South America , Australia and China have been reported. Poultry are usually asymptomatic after infection, but slow growth and weight loss occur. It has also been reported to cause death of chicken embryos. It is uncertain whether it can cause pneumonia in humans.
The detection of chicken chlamydia generally uses the PCR method. PCR is a method of enzymatically synthesizing specific DNA fragments in vitro. It is more sensitive than other methods and has strong specificity. It can determine the type of bacterial infection. The detection speed is fast and can be completed in only two or three hours.
This kit designs primers specifically for the uracil methyltransferase gene sequence. Sexually recognized Chlamydia gallinae, verified by BLAST, has no cross-reactivity with other biological genomes. This kit detected 3 other types of chlamydia and found no non-specific signals. The tissue samples of 118 cows that were positive for chlamydia were tested and 43 chicken chlamydia positives were obtained, which was confirmed by the sequencing results. This kit is suitable for the detection and identification of chicken chlamydia.

对鸡衣原体的检测一般采用PCR法。PCR是一种体外酶促合成特异性DNA 片段的方法,灵敏度高于其他方法,特异性强,可以确定感染的细菌种类,检测速度快,只需两三个小时即可完成。
本试剂盒针对尿嘧啶甲基转移酶基因序列设计引物,特异性识别鸡衣原体,经BLAST验证,与其他生物基因组没有交叉反应。本试剂盒检测了3种其他衣原体,未发现非特异性信号;对衣原体阳性的118头牛的组织样本进行检测,获得43个鸡衣原体阳性,为测序结果所证实。本试剂盒适用于鸡衣原体的检测和鉴定。
